About Us
Make Bethlehem Beautiful (NPC) was founded in 2025, as a community-led initiative to inspire hope, action, and pride in the town we all call home.
We believe that small things like cleaning a sidewalk, a fresh coat of paint, and genuine care about this town can spark something bigger - a brighter future, a more united community.
What We Do
Since the launch of this movement in 2025, our online footprint has grown to reach over 1 million people every month. What do we do with that influence?
We spread positivity.
We share every good deed, every happy story, and every renewed beautiful space in our town. We work together with our local municipality to do what they can't. In turn, they often help us too! We don't get held up with politics or opinions.
We take action.
Ongoing Projects & Teams
Parks & Recreation Team
These teams tackle any public spaces that need a clean-up. From overgrown sidewalks to cemeteries. They work very hard to cut & clear parks, and even school playgrounds. You can support them by sponsoring a cleanup (funds will go towards labour, materials and transport).
Better Roads,
Better Bethlehem
Every pothole fixed is a step toward a safer, prouder, stronger Bethlehem. And a better Bethlehem is better for business! If you're struggling with deteriorated roads around your business (or home), you can get in touch and learn how you could sponsor one of our weekly road repairs.
Yellow Bin Project
Have you seen the yellow bins all across town? That's us! These bins help to keep public spaces cleaner, and are cleared regularly by our local municipality and Drom Tjom. You can sponsor the set-up of a bin and cover the monthly cost of Drom Tjom. In return, you earn a advertising space for your business.
Wings & Wheels Airshow
It's not all work & no play. There's also time for fun for the whole community! We've brought back the famous annual Bethlehem Airshow - just bigger and better. Coming 30 May 2026. Tickets go on sale this March.

Make Bethlehem Beautiful is a registered Public Benefit Organisation (PBO). That means qualifying donations are tax deductible.
Your contribution helps us fund visible, practical change. We're not just about weekly clean ups and road repairs. There are even bigger projects waiting to be tackled as soon as we have enough funding.
